Kaaya or Kriya 3

The celebration was concluded early in the morning, and everyone bid their bye to Kriya and wished her well. Akaay didn't come inside and was still standing on the balcony. After sending all the guests it was her, Raashi, kaaya, Nimish, Akaay and his friends in the house.

Kriya went to the balcony and hugged Akaay from behind, "Thank you for coming. It is the best birthday gift (birthday gift I ever received.)" Before she could finish the sentence Akaay held her hand, "I'm sorry for my behaviour earlier. Whatever happened between us and how things went was all my fault. I've never been happy without you, not even for a single minute; all the time, it was you who was on my mind." Akaay turned back and hugged her tightly, "I wish I would have stopped you Kaa...(Kaaya)" Before he could finish his sentence, he saw Kaaya and Nimish together in the kitchen; he angrily pulled his hands tighter, making Kriya uncomfortable. Kriya looked up and said, "Kaa? What? Akaay, you're choking my breath with hug. You okay?" Akaay came to senses, "All okay. I was saying I should have never let us separate Kriya. But look at your friends. What's between them?" Kriya noticed the change in Akaay's hug and voice, with the curiosity he held for Kaaya and Nimish made her a little awkward, but she let it go for that moment.
"Oh ki kaa and Nimmo, they're good friends, you can call them soulmates. I and everyone here ship them you know. Dada and Dadi (Neighbors) have already imagined them getting married. They always try to bring these two together. They look all perfect, happy together, don't they?" She looked at Akaay all smilingly. She noticed he wasn't happy looking at them, and she knew he had something on his mind. She shook Akaay, "Akku, where are you lost? I'm asking if they look good together, don't they?" Akaay coughed and replied, "MAYBE, there's nothing special about it." This response made Kriya uncomfortable. She knew Akaay for 3-4 years, and he never once responded in such a manner. However, she knew her roomie who happened to respond to this phrase either when she was not happy/excited about something. Kriya started to have many thoughts as to whether Akaay and Kaaya knew each other from before, the way he's behaving around her since he arrived, and the unusual tussle Kaaya was showing towards Akaay. In a minute, she had thought of all the worst possibilities.
Raashi from the living room called upon them, "Hey, love birds, come inside. Nimish special tea is ready." Akaay smiled, and he put his hand on Kriya's shoulder and moved towards the hall. Kriya, although, was still thinking about it.
Is Kriya right about her thoughts? Or it is something she's overthinking? They all sat together. Kaaya was uncomfortable. She excused herself and went to have tea on the balcony. Everyone was confused about her leaving. Nimish hinted at Kriya, and he followed Kaaya to the balcony. They stood together for a while, having a conversation. Nimish lightened Kaaya's mood. Everyone was done with tea. Kriya and Raashi went into the kitchen. Jeet's wife broke the silence, "Kaaya and this guy, it seems like, there must be love brewing between them." Jeet grabbed her hand angrily making her stop. Raj, "What!? What made you say this?" Jeet gave Raj a disappointed look and asked his wife to answer, "I mean, look at them. The way they stand with each other, talk, smile, and make eye contact. It's warm." Raj, "They might be friends as well." "No, looking at them I get the vibe they're fond of each other." Akaay stood midway and approached the balcony. As soon as he entered Kaaya went inside. It was only Nimish and Akaay on the balcony.
Nimish didn't leave the balcony to make things awkward.

They stood together in silence. Akaay took a cigarette from his pocket and moved his hand towards Nimish to offer him which he denied. Nimish got a call from his cousin asking for his card details to make payment. He took his wallet and gave him details. After that, he was lost, adoring, staring at a photo from his wallet. Akaay from behind, "I cannot beat around the bush. I'll be direct. Hey, do you like Kaaya? Wait a minute who's this girl?" Akaay asked while Nimish was lost staring at a picture, he asked his permission to see the picture. Nimish gave him the picture. He smirked, came forward, stood diagonally, put his hand over Akaay's shoulder and said in his ear, "Like? Nah? I love her! I love her in ways you never did, you or none can ever imagine. I've been in love with her for over a decade. Wanna know how much I love her?" Akaay put Nimish's hands down and laughed, "A decade, like seriously. You guys have known each other for what, 6 months... Okay, let me hear."
Nimish took the picture, "For the past 16 years, I loved her in her absence. I loved her without meeting her, even though there was no touch and a single hug when we were apart, I didn't know her smell, how she sound; all in all, I loved her soul." Akaay was confused, "I was asking you about Kaaya." "That's what I told you. Never mind, it's beyond anyone's understanding anyway. Let's go". They came inside, everyone chatted for an hour and so, and left for sleep. Before that, they all planned to go out the coming weekend. After the deliberations, they agreed. Kaaya was not in favour of going ;however, Nimish and Kriya convinced her.

I loved her without meeting her, even though there was no touch and a single hug when we were apart, I didn't know her smell, how she sound; all in all, I loved her soul." Akaay was confused, "I was asking you about Kaaya." "That's what I told you. Never mind, it's beyond anyone's understanding anyway. Let's go". They came inside, everyone chatted for an hour and so, and left for sleep. Before that, they all planned to go out the coming weekend. After the deliberations, they agreed.
