Two Sides of a Coin!
Note: By writing this piece I don't want to hurt anyone's sentiments, but want to appeal that think realistic! Also I don't want to go into data and statistics as we already know the situation and root cause of it! I'm deeply concerned for the society, thus thought of writing this.
Youth engaging in politics and current affairs is appreciatble. Youth having opinion of politics is good. Likewise, we are knowing how the government works, how policies are effectively being carried out or affecting any particular perception.
Having political opinion doesn't matter, what matters is how you express it. Destruction of public property isn't going to help. Instead of violence why not choose peaceful protest. Common people are influenced to achieve political agenda. Slaughtering pets of a supporter, raping and molesting a woman supporter, destruction of shops and businesses; where are we going? Politician is for government, government is not for politicians. Likewise politicians are for public and we are not for them. Is political agenda worth more than a humankind, humanity? Think and act wisely.
Unfortunately, in India we have more politicians than political leader. Political leader will never agree to anti social ways of achieving goals. But they'll promote improvised peaceful protest. A true political leader will focus on tranquility and harmony of society, will try to connect the politics with common man, improve life standards, focus on improvement & growth and achieving development!
Kindly, before making a political opinion think rationally, does the statement, act of politician worth supporting??? Is there any truth, or the youth is just supporting the politician being part of particular political party or any other personal interest. Will opposing or supporting a politician or a political ideology is going to bring greater good for society? If yes, then kindly, peacefully oppose or support it. Simply spread awareness through internet, but not by degrading, decrediting, defaming a politician. Instead critise the agenda, the act, statement made.
Government is not always be there to blame! Can we blame ourselves for not acting in accordance with norms and taking matters into our own hands?
Thank you Saundarya, Pratik and Madhura!
